“Those who attended the Team Leadership Meeting were as follows:

 At the meeting we discussed goals and roles of the team and the upcoming campaign, heard lessons on leadership and team work, and received encouragement about the overall effort. Ralph Williams brought two very good lessons from Jeremiah concerning ‘How To Tell if The Fire Has Gone Out – Jer. 20’ and ‘If The Going Got Rough, What Would You Do?’ – Jer. 12:1-5.”

 

Ben Thompson 

My name is Ben Thompson and I work with the TZ 2000 Mission Team. My main work here is to teach in the ACSOP. Also, I conduct seminars in local churches and do personal evangelism. 



Before I moved to Tanzania I had been in full-time youth ministry. The congregations I have worked with in the U.S. are located in Vicksburg, MS, Sylacauga, AL, and Fort Deposit, AL. Also I have worked with Backwoods Christian Camp for many years in several different capacities.

I have graduated from two wonderful Christian colleges. In 1997, I graduated from Faulkner University with a bachelors in Liberal Arts. Then in 1998, I graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with a Master of Ministry degree. After graduating I went into full-time youth ministry.

t is truly wonderful to be able to work in such a receptive mission field with such a great mission team

 

 

 


Elly Shadrick Martin

 

I was born in Mbeya, Tanzania. I am married to Neema S.Martin wife who was born in Iringa Tanzania. My children are Gy, a son, born December 12th, 1991; Mary and Miriam, twin daughters, born December 10, 1994; and Mindy, a daughter, born  July 21, 2000.

           I was born in 1968 went to School and raised there in Mbeya. I became a member of the Lord’s Church in 1983. After trade School in 1986 I started working with Chimala Mission Hospital. I worked for Chimala Mission for nearly 14 years as supervisor for the Mission Estate until July 2000 when I moved to Arusha with my family. Then I started working with the Church here in and around Arusha.

             In 2004 the Tanzania 2000 team improved the Andrew Connally School of Preaching by building new facilities. I became the Facilities Manager for the School and the team. I do supervise and repairs, building, and work as a go-between for the team and the Government of Tanzania. I am a carpenter by trade.


 

My name is Innocent Alfayo Mashayo. I am 35years old and was born in the Kilimanjaro Region {Moshi} of Tanzania near the highest mountain in Africa. Now I am living in the Monduli District {Arusha Region} serving as the evangelist at the Monduli congregation. I have a good wife named Hilda. She is  30 years old and we have 2 wonderful kids. Patrick is 6 years old and Pamela is 2 years old.

          I was graduated from the Andrew Connally School of Preaching in 2003 and now I am in the Master’s program.

          In 2003 my wife and I planted the Church at Monduli. It is growing slowly. I am self supported and most of my time is spent working to support my family. I have many Bible Studies ongoing
